Sail-Cult
It was a beautiful summer’s day on the Island of Elba. Whilst observing the sailing boats I had an inspiration! Sails I thought, strong and majestic, transporting boats and people through many seas rough and calm. How sad it was to think that these wonderful sails that had travelled far and wide, would end their days simply discarded.
This is how SAIL CULT began.
Only after an enormous amount of work hour after hour at my sewing machine, working late into the night, do I feel satisfied and content. Having given a breath of new life and beginning to these old windswept sails, using my imagination mixing colours with nature.
My work is unique and my creations tells true stories of sea and people.
